OVERVIEW

The Good Dad Gang began in 2014 as a powerful grassroots movement with a simple yet profound mission: to inspire and equip fathers to be the best dads they can be. We believe in celebrating fatherhood and the continuous journey of growth. For over a decade, our annual backpack giveaway has been a lifeline for the Lawrence, MA community, demonstrating our commitment to tangible impact. In 2025, we proudly became a 501(c)(3) to amplify our reach and formalize our operations.

VISION

We envision a world where every child benefits from the active involvement of both parents, especially fathers since many experience barriers to maintaining a healthy relationship with their child. By fostering strong family bonds and advocating for fathers’ rights and responsibilities, we aim to create a supportive environment that nurtures the well-being of children, parents, and the community as a whole. Ultimately, we strive to influence the systems that impact family dynamics, advocating for policies and practices that are equitable for fathers and supportive of all children and families.
